Bradley Stafford from Inez, KY was critically injured in an on the job accident on Monday. The Johnson County, Ky. Sheriff says Bradley Stafford, 20, was hurt in the accident along US 460.
Stafford works for the company that was weed eating the right-of-way.
The Sheriff says Stafford and other employees were moving locations, when Stafford got into the back of a pickup truck. As the truck started moving, the driver began to shift gears. The clutch “jumped”, causing Mr. Stafford to fall out of the back of the truck and hit his head on the highway.
Following the accident, Mr. Stafford was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington where he is listed in critical condition.
The accident remains under investigation.
