HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE ONCE AGAIN WITHIN THE SHELDON CLARK, JROTC CARDINAL BATTALION, WOLFPACK COMPANY.
Congratulations to the Wolf pack company as they made history this past weekend competing in one of the year’s biggest competitions at EKU’S Cadet Stakes. Wolf pack Company was met with all types of mental, physical and teamwork challenges which enforced teamwork, leadership and most of all camraderie. The cadets stakes this year included numerous teams from different states to include some military schools of whom all wanted to be called the best.
The Wolfpack Company was able to achieve the final objective of being called the best and brought home several trophies to include two first place championships by defeating 21 other schools. The Cadets of Wolfpack Company was able to work as a team and most of all work together as a family built around trust and determination. Sergeant Rodriguez stated” I was moved to see how awesome it was to see these cadets work together as a team(Family) by communicating and trusting each other to achieve one objective being called the BEST”.
Wolfpack companies champions for the 2011 cadet stakes are: Cadet Sara Vickers, George Daniels, Nik Sloan, Brady Cline, Zak Newsome, Tommy Reed, Sara Muncy, Alydia Marcum, Shaun Arrowood, Dustin Mollett, Bryan Mollett, Madison Mooney, Jordan Justice, Jonathan McCoy, Paige Kidd, Marlina Bowen, Caleb Patrick, Martin Davalos.
Wolfpack Company would like to send a special thanks to all the families and friends that come and support them both at home and on the road. The commitment by families enforces the importance of teamwork and family support within the battalion making it the best team to be a part of.
