Loretta Phelps, age 84 of Dallas, Texas formerly of Meally, KY passed away October 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas Phelps, her adoptive parents Grover and Oma Music, her brother, Clifford Kirk, and her great granddaughter, Shelby Arin McDowell. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Mike)Franklin and her son Roger (Donna) Phelps; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren also survive. Loretta was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday at the Paintsville Church of Christ with burial to follow in the Phelps Family Cemetery at Meally, KY. Johnny Lemaster will officiate. Friends may visit the Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Friday from 2-9PM. Arrangements are by the Phelps and Son Funeral Home of Paintsville.
