Gary McFaddin, age 73 of Hager Hill passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville. Born June 7, 1940 in Johnson County to the late George McFaddin and Kandie Tackett McFaddin. Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille McFaddin who passed away June 29, 2004. He is survived by two sons, Gary McFaddin of Georgetown, Brian McFaddin of Nicholasville; two daughters, Gari Howard of Columbia, SC, Jessie Trimble of Staffordsville; two brothers, Howard McFaddin of Thelma, Phillip McFaddin of Paintsville; one sister, Hazel McKenzie of Hager Hill and five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 1PM in the chapel of the Phelps and Son Funeral Home of Paintsville with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville. Larry Blair will officiate. Friends may visit the funeral home from 5-9PM Sunday, all day Monday and until time of service on Tuesday. Arrangements are by the Phelps and Son Funeral Home of Paintsville.
