Kenneth Brewer, age 84 of Kermit, WV passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his home. Born February 19, 1929 to the late Thomas and Virginia (Williams) Brewer in Mingo Co, WV. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Brewer. Kenneth is survived by three sons, Arville Johnson of Wayne, WV, Kenneth Brewer Jr. of Columbus, OH, and Thomas Mulcahy of Kermit, WV; three daughters, Constance Stann of Laurelville, OH, Della Mae Ruggles of Logan, WV, and Linda Jean Ossing of Columbus, OH; four brothers, Ermel Brewer of Columbus, OH, James Brewer of Clyde, OH, Henry Brewer of Mingo, WV, and Bill Brewer of Florida; three sisters, Nella Mae Gahto of St. Petersburg, FL, Myrtle Gault of Pine Knoll Shores, NC, Ada Jean Irvin of Zanesville, OH. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Gospel Church of God with burial to follow in the Brewer Cemetery at Kermit. Friends may visit the church from 2-10pm on Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Inez.
