Gwendolyn (Gwen) Williamson, age 73 of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Mountain Manor in Paintsville. Born June 8, 1940 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Kennis and Exer Ward Holbrook. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Williamson; one daughter, Paula Wells of Paintsville; one brother, Bud (Kennis) Holbrook, Jr of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Kathleen Daniel of Paintsville and Bonnie Preston of Anderson, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Caleb and Jerrica Branham.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Tom’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Family Cemetery at Thelma. James Kelly Caudill will officiate. Friends may visit the Phelps & Son Funeral Home from 5-9pm Sunday. Arrangements are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
