Madeline Virginia Heater, 85 of Vanceburg, KY was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Heater, Sr., a daughter, Virginia Heater; a step-son, Don Heater; two brothers, Robert Rath and Earl Rath. She is survived by a son, Charles Heater, Jr. and wife Debbie, and daughter, Dreama Bond, her long time caregiver. Grandchildren include Rebekah Reeves, Rachel Medlin, Aaron Heater, Dale Crawford, and Nathan Bond, along with nine great-grandchildren. A sister Gladys Warwick of Bowling Green, Ohio and a brother Charles Rath of Bowling Green, Ohio, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Vanceburg Christian Baptist Church. Rev. Acy Gibson will officiate. Friends may visit the church from 6PM-8PM Friday and until time of service on Saturday. Arrangements are by the Phelps and Son Funeral Home of Paintsville.
