Rickey Lee Newsome 55 of Kermit, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2013 in Wayne Co., WV. He was born on Feb. 4, 1958 in West Virginia, his father Keither “Snook Newsome and Elizabeth Perry of Kermit, WV and Mother, Lorene (Eugene) Walker of Prichard, WV. He was a dozer operator. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Noah and Florence Sartin Newsome and Bill and Stella Rose Brewer.

Zelda Hensley, age 88 of Beauty, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at her home. Born December 8, 1924 in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Pricy Copley Brewer.

George “Orsin” Damron, age 86 of Ashville, Ohio, formerly of Martin County, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Emeitus at Lakeview, Groveport. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Wilda Marcum Damron

Doris Irene Hayes Mollette, departed this life on August 22, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. She was born on May 4, 1928 in Paintsville, KY and was the daughter of the late Hobert Hayes and Mary B. Cantrell Hayes.

Gary McFaddin, age 73 of Hager Hill passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville. Born June 7, 1940 in Johnson County to the late George McFaddin and Kandie Tackett McFaddin. Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille McFaddin who passed away June 29, 2004. He is survived by two sons, Gary McFaddin of Georgetown, Brian McFaddin of Nicholasville; two daughters, Gari Howard of Columbia, SC, Jessie Trimble of Staffordsville; two brothers, Howard McFaddin of Thelma, Phillip McFaddin of Paintsville; one sister, Hazel McKenzie of Hager Hill and five grandchildren also survive.
