Paul David Moore, age 59 of Pilgrim passed away Saturday, July 13, at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg. Born September 14, 1953 in Martin County to the late Wes Moore and Sarah Duncan Moore. He is also preceded in death by one son, Paul David Moore Jr and one brother, Darrell Moore. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Patrick Moore of Pilgrim; one son, James Taylor Moore or Inez; three daughters, Sherry Fletcher of Louisa, Amanda Endicott of Inez, Jessica Harmon of Inez; four brothers, Shawn Moore of Pilgrim, Eddie Moore of Inez, Bobby Moore of Inez, Michael Moore of Inez; six sisters, Caroline Mire, Joyce Hummel, Mary Fletcher, Marlene Jude, Shelby Murphy, Kathy Chapman; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at the Union United Baptist Church at Emily Creek with burial to follow in the Jude-Fletcher Cemetery. Terry Harmon will officiate. Friends may visit the church Monday after 2PM and all day Tuesday. Arrangements are by the Phelps and Son Funeral Home of Inez.
