Need a quick easy recipe for cornbread?

In a large mixing bowl, combine the following:

1 Large Egg

1/2 Cup Self Rising Flour

2 Cups Buttermilk Corn Meal

1 Teaspoon Salt

1/2 Cup Cooking Oil

Finally mix in cold Buttermilk until batter is the consistency of pudding.  Bake at 425 degrees for about 25 minutes or until top is golden brown.
