A memorial service will be held 1pm Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Louisa Freewill Baptist Church. Friends may visit the church from 10am and until time of service on Wednesday. Services are by the Phelps & Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
Christina Renee’ Hale Barnett, age 34 of Flat Gap, left this world to be with angels on September 18, 2013. Born October 8, 1978 in Columbia City, Indiana, she was the beloved daughter of Donna Thompson Hale and the late Robert Lee Hale. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Hale and her grandfather, Bobby Thompson. Christina is survived by two brothers, Robert Jr. (Rebecca) Hale of Tecumseh, Michigan, and Clint Hale of Martin, KY; one sister, Michelle Hale of Red Bush, KY; five nephews, Ryan, Jacob, Dylan, Robbie Lee, and Trevor; three nieces, Makayla, Whitney, and Jayden; maternal grandmother, Margie Thompson; paternal grandparents, George and Edna Hale. Christina was a beautiful girl with a heart of gold and she will be missed, but we know she is flying high with the angels.
